Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Car Mechanic with a Red Seal certification to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to handle complex repairs efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles, and to contribute to a team dedicated to automotive excellence.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including powertrain, diesel engines,
  • Conduct wheel alignments and auto body repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs on electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and suspension components.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service throughout the process.

Experience

  • Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive service center backgrounds preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical components, and diesel engines.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Familiarity with , wheel alignment procedures, and auto body repair techniques.
  • Knowledge of schematics interpretation for electrical wiring diagrams and system troubleshooting.

Pay: $28.01-$42.78 per hour
