Overview

Geddi Route (Indian Fusion Street Food Truck) is looking for an experienced Food Truck Manager who can handle daily operations, manage staff, control quality, and deliver top-level customer service in a busy food truck environment.

Duties

  • Manage daily food truck operations (opening, service & closing)
  • Lead and supervise truck staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction
  • Manage staff scheduling, punctuality & performance
  • Handle rush hours with fast service and strong quality control
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards inspection
  • Manage cash handling, POS, sales reports and Uber/Skip orders
  • Inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and solve issues quickly
  • Support marketing efforts (Google reviews, customer feedback, promotions)
  • Handle catering customers and ensure smooth catering order coordination
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment

Requirements

  • 2–3 years experience as a Manager / Supervisor in restaurant/food service
  • Strong leadership skills and communication
  • Must be reliable, disciplined, and responsible
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
  • Experience in sales management, and marketing techniques
  • Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and supervise staff while fostering a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of budgeting, payroll processing, purchasing procedures, and administrative tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability in training & development initiatives to enhance team performance
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Prior experience in Restaurant industry management/sales is preferred
