Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Millwright Technician based in Toronto, ON. The Millwright Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and addressing mechanical faults, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring continuous operation of machines during production. Additional duties may include assisting with repairs and replacements of components to minimize downtime and maintaining adherence to health and safety standards in all maintenance tasks. Collaboration with the production team and adherence to facility guidelines is key.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Millwright
  • Hands on experience in Food Industry is preferred
  • Experience with CMMS/Fiix will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance-related tasks, ensuring efficient operation of tools and machinery
  • Competence in Preventive Maintenance strategies to avoid equipment breakdowns
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting for identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, or operational issues
  • Experience in Maintenance & Repair work for production equipment and infrastructure
  • Ability to understand technical manuals and schematics
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices in maintaining industrial equipment
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
  • Relevant certifications or a trade qualification in Millwrighting preferred
