Avaton is an award winning Audio, Visual & Security company based out of Mississauga.

Must-haves

  • 1-2 years experience in the A/V and/or Security industry
  • Crestron/Control4 Familiarity/Experience
  • Fall-arrest/working at heights certifications
  • Familiarity with control systems, wiring & wiring schematics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • CTS or similar AV industry recognized certifications are an asset
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently
  • Clean driving record, G-license
  • In-depth construction background an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independantly or in a team setting as well as coordinating with other trades
  • Assist the senior technician and taking initiative
  • Understanding the different phases of rough-in, install and comissioning of AV/Security systems
  • Wire terminations, building racks, systems testing, and documentation
  • Understand and interpret floor plans, drawings and schematics
  • Testing systems, training end users, and ensuring work is matching or exceeding company standards
  • Company vehicle to be provided

NOTE: the candidate MUST be eligible to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
