Mississauga, Canada Livecast Inc. Full time

Hey A/V Technicians We’re looking for a stellar A/V player to join our awesome team of live streaming, event and video producers. In-person and hybrid events are on the rise and we need an A/V tech who can hit the ground running with their super strong A/V skills.

**What’s involved**:
**Pickup & drop off A/V equipment**: We’re located in Mississauga (if you live in the west end, it’s a bonus). Prep and load various equipment into our vans and deliver to the venue.

**Setup and take down**: Once you’re on-site, unload and setup all equipment in a technically correct and efficient way. After the event, take everything down, load it back in and deliver it back to the office.

**In-event operations**:

- _**Audio**:_Operate and adjust audio and recording equipment like audio consoles, computers, microphones and sound processing equipment.
- _**Live Streaming**:_ For hybrid events, you would operate audio or streaming equipment for an in-person audience, livestream audience, cameras and remote presenters via Zoom, MS Teams or vMix.
- _**Video**:_Setup and operate professional cameras to capture/film raw video content for post-production editing. Ensure lighting setup is optimal for recording setups.

**Troubleshooting**:With live events, you need to think quickly on your feet to solve problems (occasionally on your own) when technical issues arise, like audio not being heard by the audience, the presenter’s mic not properly working, etc.

**Client service**:Client satisfaction is our top priority. Review event info with the client and/or venue prior to the event to ensure a seamless event.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Possess a G class license and are able to drive a company van
- Resides in Brampton or surrounding areas
- Minimum 2 years of relevant paid field experience.
- Completed post-secondary certificate or diploma in an A/V program
- Flexible availability I.e. early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

**Software**: Intermediate skills with Adobe Creative Suite, vMix, PowerPoint, MS Office, Teams, and Zoom

**Schedule**: Ranges from 30-40 hours per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience level

**Who we are**:Livecast is a forward-thinking livestreaming, video and event production company. We work at the intersection of business, culture, and events. The company started in 2019 in Brampton, Ontario and has flourished with production hubs in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal. We specialize in live in-person events as well as hybrid and virtual.

**Why work at LiVECAST?**

You get a great opportunity to grow and learn about producing events, video production and livestreaming. You're not just a number. Our crew works closely together. Your efforts are recognized, valued and appreciated. We have a wide variety of clientele. You'll get exposure to different industries and sectors such as public, private and non-profit organizations. During the summers and winter holidays, events tend to slow down. You’ll get downtime to relax and recharge before the busy seasons (September to mid December, and March to the end of June).
