Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role located in West Vancouver, BC. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing communication systems to coordinate the movement and scheduling of vehicles, equipment, and personnel. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring transportation activities, ensuring schedules are followed, addressing any issues that arise promptly, and maintaining accurate records of operations. The Dispatcher will play a key role in ensuring efficiency and safety, working closely with various departments and teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, including clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in logistics coordination, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage and address unexpected challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with communication and dispatch tools such as radios or software systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
