Summary

The Coordinator, Parking Enforcement Programs plays a key role in supporting EasyPark's Enforcement Programs by coordinating daily enforcement operations, dispatch activities, and quality assurance measures. This role bridges the gap between field enforcement officers, enforcement dispatchers, internal staff, and external vendors. The Coordinator ensures compliance with established standards, provides training and coaching, and prepares reports and event reviews for internal circulation. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to balance office and field responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Enforcement Operations & Coordination

  • Provide day-to-day coordination of enforcement activities, ensuring efficient deployment of patrollers and dispatchers.
  • Act as a point of contact between enforcement vendors, contractors, and internal teams, addressing operational inquiries and escalations in real-time.
  • Conduct regular Quality Assurance (QA) checks on patrollers and dispatchers, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions when required.
  • Investigate public complaints and work with Enforcement Management to recommend appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions for contracted providers.
  • Review voided violations due to patroller errors, providing coaching and recommendations to vendors.

Dispatch & Training

  • Train, coach, and mentor enforcement dispatchers and patrollers, ensuring alignment with EasyPark policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client requirements.
  • Assist dispatchers with escalated calls, tow requests, and incident report reviews.
  • Support the development and delivery of training materials, digital handbooks, and onboarding resources.

Event Review & Internal Communications

  • Review enforcement-related incidents, statistics, and outcomes during special events.
  • Prepare concise event summaries and reports to be shared with internal management teams.
  • Ensure communication loops are closed with all stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and internal departments.

Data & Reporting

  • Analyze enforcement data daily, weekly, and monthly, identifying trends and presenting findings to management.
  • Prepare written reports, correspondence, and updates to Enforcement Management and internal staff.
  • Track contractor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reporting deficiencies and following up as needed.

Client & Vendor Relations

  • Liaise with clients regarding parking enforcement inquiries, suspensions, and event-related enforcement issues.
  • Meet weekly with enforcement vendors to review performance, address deficiencies, and discuss upcoming requirements.
  • Support Enforcement Management in maintaining strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and city partners.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Secondary School Diploma required, post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in enforcement, security, or dispatch operations.
  • Strong knowledge of parking enforcement procedures, dispatch coordination, and service compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and evaluate team members effectively.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balancing office work with field presence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence.
  • Must complete Basic Security Training within 30 days of employment and must have a Security Worker's Licence within 90 days of employement.

Pay: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
