At this time, we are looking for a
Structural Engineer (Intermediate / Senior)
in response to a growing workload within our structural consulting practice.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10+ years' experience in the design of building structures and components. Assets would include:

  • exposure to design with all materials;
  • experience in computer modelling;
  • excellent written communication skills;
  • experience working within a multidisciplinary consultant team;
  • experience with site investigations / forensic engineering
  • This candidate should be registered (or eligible for registration) with CTTAM or EGM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural design and management of multiple projects of varying sizes with involvement spanning from schematic design through completion of construction. This would include but not be limited to design, provision of sketches and markups for drafting, and review of drawings to ensure designs meet governing body standards and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external project team members for successful completion of projects
  • Develop your work plan in alignment with your team, ensuring you meet targets and stay within budget
  • Perform site reviews throughout the construction phase
  • Prepare construction field reports
  • Support the Principal Engineer during initial assessment and design phases
  • Senior staff provide coaching, mentoring, and training for junior staff
