SheFighter Instructor – Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated female SheFighter Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in self-defense, martial arts, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muy Thai or fitness instruction, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality classes, ensuring a safe and empowering environment, and fostering confidence, strength, and resilience among participants.
Important Requirement: All instructors must complete the SheFighter Training of Trainers (ToT) Level system and have achieved at least Silver Level to be eligible to coach ( will be provided to the coaches for free as they sign the contract)
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective SheFighter self-defense and martial arts classes for individuals or groups.
- Follow lesson plans and class structures in alignment with SheFighter curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage skill development and confidence.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment by enforcing safety rules and studio policies.
- Motivate and inspire participants, fostering empowerment and self-confidence.
- Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, their families regarding progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and ToT sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all classes.
- Assist at the front desk/reception: check in clients, manage class attendance, answer basic inquiries, and support studio operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Female candidate preferred.
- Completed SheFighter Training of Trainers system up to at least Silver Level (Intermediate Level)
- Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or fitness instruction, preferably in martial arts or self-defense.
- Strong knowledge of martial arts techniques, safety protocols, and instructional methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of all ages.
- Ability to create a motivating, safe, and empowering learning atmosphere.
- Comfortable assisting with reception duties and client check-ins.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required; willingness to obtain is essential.
- Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to promoting empowerment, confidence, and personal growth in participants.
