Position Overview:

Aflah Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior High Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core subjects—including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—as well as Physical Education to students in grades 6–8. The ideal teacher will bring creativity, strong classroom management, and a passion for student growth and holistic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies) and Physical Education.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that supports academic and personal growth.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education.
  • Teaching certification required
  • Experience teaching junior high students in a classroom setting
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Ability to teach Physical Education in an active and inclusive manner

Pay: $54,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
