JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements:

Bachelor's degree as well as Bachelor of Education

The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and

experience:

  • Experience teaching Art across a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art.
  • Enjoy using technology in creative ways,
  • Ability to build strong connections with high school students, and create a welcoming, engaging classroom.
  • Strong organization, classroom management, and the ability to collaborate with staff and parents are essential.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with special needs is an asset.
  • Flexibility to teach a range of art electives and a willingness to be involved in the school community are also important.
