RAPS is Seeking a part time caregiver to assist an individual with Dementia (E19)

Location: St. Albert

Days: Saturday and Sunday

Hours: 10am-12:00pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting including changing of incontinent products) provide Oral care and Nail care, Range of Motion exercises, Medication administration, Meal preparation, Support on outings (Walks around the community), encouragement and participation of creative activities within the home, light housework, laundry, and companionship.

Qualifications:the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, Having the Health Care Aide certificate and having direct experience working with Dementia clients is considered an asset. The ideal candidate will have the ability to Speak Italian.

Rate of Pay: $22.50 hour

Reference No: E19

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in their homes and community. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are compassionate and patient, and have strong organizational abilities. You will work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure their well-being and comfort.
