About the Opportunity
Fusion is currently seeking a full-time Supply Chain Specialist to join the team in Calgary, AB, Canada. The preferred candidate will be an organized, driven, results-focused professional. Job duties involve working closely with our technical team and accounting department and is responsible for working with our clients and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Primarily your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Order Processing and Logistics Management:
Receive documents from customers and initiate logging process in the system, process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery
Customer Liaison
: Identify and assess customers' needs and build sustainable relationships with clients and vendors through open and interactive communication. Keep records of relevant interactions with vendors and customers
Supply Chain Support
: Manage inventory and fulfill raw material orders. Coordinate Domestic and International orders and transportation, by Ocean, Air and Land. Track and trace containers and dispatch for drayage, coordinating with trucking companies and warehouses.
General duties
: On call rotation for customer support. Filing and general office administrative tasks
Qualifications
·
Post-secondary education related to International Trade, Logistics or Business would be an asset
·
Experience with accounting software would be an asset but not mandatory
·
Prefer 1 year experience with Supply Chain & Logistics
·
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
·
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work well with all levels of the organization
·
Extremely high attention to detail
·
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
·
Comfortable in time-sensitive team-based small office environment
·
Ability to work on call rotation
