About The Role
We are seeking an Organizational Development Consultant to play a central role in shaping the future of our workforce and organizational design. As part of the HR team, you will design, implement, and track initiatives that strengthen workforce development, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness. Your work will ensure our organization is structured, skilled, and ready to deliver on our strategic roadmap—while remaining a trusted partner in advancing digital health outcomes across the province.

What You'll Do

  • Assess organizational structures, operating models, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design future-state models that enhance clarity, collaboration, and service delivery.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning cycles, including capability mapping, skills inventories, forecasting and succession/career pathway design.
  • Partner with leaders to identify future talent needs, critical roles, and capability gaps.
  • Develop, implement and maintain workforce plans, monitoring progress against strategic priorities.
  • Support the creation, delivery, and continuous refinement of OD programs, including leadership development, competency-based learning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Run needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness; refine learning content and delivery based on outcomes and metrics.
  • Translate organizational assessments into actionable change and implementation plans.
  • Provide facilitation, consultation, and support for change initiatives and organizational effectiveness projects.
  • Support communications, engagement activities, and adoption planning to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Analyze organizational and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Present clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations to leaders and project teams.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • 5+ years of experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Design, HR Strategy, or Workforce Planning Is required.
  • Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or a related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of OD principles, including structure, systems, culture, and change management.
  • Experience with organizational design methodologies and workforce planning frameworks.
  • Skilled in facilitation, consultation, and building strong relationships with leaders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, learning, and leadership development programs.
  • A Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) & Background in health care, public sector, or complex service environments would be considered an asset.
