THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We are seeking a strategic andanalytical Enterprise Pricing Manager, responsible for designing andimplementing pricing strategies for the organization's integrated productportfolio, including insurance, health, and administrative services. Thisindividual will oversee pricing operations to ensure profitability, marketcompetitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. They will contribute to enterprise-level financialcollaboration by working closely with underwriting, sales, finance, productdevelopment, and innovation teams to support the optimization of productofferings and contribute to business growth.

Roles andResponsibilities:

1. Actuarial Pricing Execution and Support
  • Maintain foundational knowledge of a broad range of group insurance products to support pricing strategy development and cross-product alignment as business needs evolve.
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies for the organization's insurance products to ensure financial sustainability and market competitiveness.
  • Manage pricing activities for renewals and new business, leveraging claims data, market trends, and regulatory guidance.
  • Maintain and update manual rates as needed.
  • Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to apply and refine pricing models that balance customer value with profitability goals.
  • Monitor product performance and provide data-driven recommendations to support pricing adjustments and profitability improvements.
  • Prepare clear, actionable insights and reports on pricing performance and trends for senior leadership.
  • Support the reinsurance renewal process and maintain relevant documentation and relationships.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of reinsurance structures and their impact on enterprise pricing strategies, including the ability to model pricing scenarios and support the reconciliation process between ceded premiums, recoveries and financial reporting.
2. Collaboration with Finance
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure pricing strategies align with enterprise financial objectives.
  • Apply pricing methodologies across various offerings, including insurance, health services, and administrative solutions.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions.
  • Provide input into budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning from a pricing perspective.
3.Team Management and Leadership:
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their development and performance.
  • Contribute to setting team objectives and tracking progress against goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree would be an asset
  • 5 years of experience in a Health and Benefits Insurance role (actuarial, consulting, pricing, etc.)
  • FSA or ASA designation
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, advanced Excel, data modelling (SQL, R, Tableau, Power Bi)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating flexibility in managing workload demands and handling multiple tasks as required
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on meeting deadlines
