Inner City Diesel Ltd. (ICD) is excited to announce we are seeking an experienced Recruitment Administrator to join our team This role is essential to support our daily operations through a variety of office and recruitment based administrative duties, including organization, record‑keeping, and handling confidential, time‑sensitive information.

The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday at our Fort McMurray office in Rickards Landing (181 Robertson Road, off the corner of HWY 881 and HWY 63). You MUST BE local to Fort McMurray and have your own form of transportation to and from work (public transit is not available).

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally with internal and external clients and vendors to consolidate, verify, and enter pricing data with a high degree of accuracy
  • Assist in hiring activities including, but not limited to, job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling and facilitation, and offer letter creation
  • Collect pre-employment requirements, schedule alcohol and drug testing, and process new hire documentation in a timely manner
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience by serving as the primary point of contact for new hires, respond promptly to candidate inquiries, and deliver a clear, organized, and welcoming orientation
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized records in the employee database
  • Assist with maintenance and updates to the human resources manuals and documentation.
  • Research and maintain creative, effective ways to attract new talent
  • Support reporting requirements, including external market research and attrition analysis
  • Other recruitment and administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in human resources administration, recruitment, or equivalent
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Must have own form of transportation to and from work (public transit not available to office location)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary education or certification in Human Resources, Recruitment, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of full cycle recruitment experience, preferably within the trades

  • Willing to follow all ICD Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures

Successful candidates must provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

  • Copy of valid Class 5 (or greater) driver's license
  • Copy of current 3-year clean driver's abstract
  • Copies of education and training certificates (if applicable)

All employees must participate in, promote, and contribute to ICD's Safety-First culture. This includes, but is not limited to, following Safe Work practices and procedures, attending safety meetings and toolbox talks, understanding and navigating our digital safety application (SiteDocs), completing FLRA's, using PPE, inspection of vehicles, tools, and equipment, and more.
