**Project Administrator - Fort McMurray, AB**

You will report to the **Project Accountant Lead - East** and be accountable for the following:

- Ensure accurate employee records and timely time management system updates.
- Submit time records promptly for payroll and invoicing.
- Collect payroll documentation for timely worker payments.
- Maintain project crew lists and report on time usage and costs.
- Address payment inquiries, support project supervision, and manage travel arrangements while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Support and advance CIMS' culture, values, and business strategy while ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and strategic direction.
- Completion of a business administration certificate, diploma, or degree would be advantageous, demonstrating a foundational understanding of business principles and practices.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with colleagues, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

- The time taken to complete each task from initiation to finalization. Set targets for completion time and track adherence to these targets.
- The accuracy of data entered and maintained in the CIMS timekeeping system, crew lists, and databases. Monitor for errors and discrepancies and track the percentage of records with accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, union agreements, and legal regulations in performing each task. Monitor adherence to relevant timelines and guidelines.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders, such as project supervisors, payroll departments, and clients, on the quality and effectiveness of the tasks performed.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Payroll: 2 years (preferred)
- Time & attendance systems: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Fort McMurray, AB (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Fort McMurray, AB: Relocate before starting work (required)
