Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding families through the funeral planning process, ensuring that all aspects of the service are handled with care and professionalism. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with families to discuss their needs and preferences for funeral services.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including transportation, preparation of the deceased, and memorial services.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, including death certificates and permits.
  • Provide support and guidance to grieving families throughout the process.
  • Manage sales of funeral products and services while maintaining ethical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and company policies.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed during the preparation and handling of remains.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Licensed Funeral Director with relevant experience in a funeral home setting.
  • Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to families.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
