The Metro Truck Group is a full-service centre for all heavy truck & trailer needs. We are continuously growing & expanding, and are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED TRUCK BODY PAINTER/PREPPER at our Head Office & Full-Service Elite Dealership residing in Stoney Creek, ON.

The TRUCK BODY PAINTER/PREPPER is a central role in the Collision center as they are responsible for restoring vehicles back to their original condition, preparing them for paint jobs, and performing the final touches once painting is completed.

Main Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing vehicles/parts for painting
  • Using proper techniques, material and tools to reach desired outcome
  • Mask, prime & sand vehicles for painting
  • Maintain a clean work environment and uphold our health & safety standards
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license & clean Driver's Abstract
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and/or independently
  • Outstanding dexterity and attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
  • Training provided as required - previous auto body prep. experience considered strong asset.
