Job brief

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / SEO Specialist who can design visually compelling digital assets while optimizing content for search engines. This role blends creativity with data-driven strategy and is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and digital marketing.

You will work closely with Owner, marketing teams to enhance brand visibility, improve website performance, and drive organic traffic.

You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize traffic.

Graphic Design

  • Design marketing materials including website graphics, social media posts, ads, banners, email visuals, and presentations
  • Create and maintain brand-consistent visual assets
  • Edit and optimize images for web performance
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support campaigns
  • Prepare design files for digital and print use

SEO & Digital Optimization

  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines
  • Improve on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, internal linking, image optimization)
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and search rankings
  • Support content strategy with SEO insights and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Requirements

  • Proven Graphic Design and SEO experience
  • Strong understanding of SEO impacts with Web development
  • Strong understanding of Shopify & Wordpress
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, AHREFS, MOZ, SEM, GSC)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
