Job Description:

  • Role: Hybrid
  • Location - Grimsby/Stoney Creek Area. 

Job Summary:

As a Field Service Supervisor, you will assist the Service Manager in technician job assignments, lead and support crane service technicians through technical guidance and training, and foster strong customer relationships, sales growth, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver exceptional service experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical training and guidance to crane service technicians
  • Deliver onsite service and support, including 24/7 emergency response
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through effective management and coaching
  • Foster strong customer relationships and drive sales growth through exceptional service
  • Manage modification and upgrade projects from concept to completion
  • Champion continuous improvement and safety initiatives to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide project management support for modification and upgrade projects by conducting onsite visits, preparing quotations, and securing purchase orders, while ensuring alignment with company requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in crane service, maintenance, or related field
  • Proven expertise in heavy lifting equipment, particularly overhead cranes
  • Technical knowledge of crane systems, components, and troubleshooting
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Office) and basic computer applications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
