We are one of Vancouver Island's fastest-growing mechanical and construction services companies, delivering plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and tenant-improvement projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a driven individual who wants to build a long-term career in project management and estimating.

About the Role:

The Project Coordinator will work directly with our Project Manager and field teams, providing hands-on coordination support both on-site and in-office. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in growing into a Project Manager over time.

You'll learn by doing. Shadowing PMs and foremen in the office, helping with scheduling, supporting day-to-day project administration, and eventually assisting with quoting and estimating smaller scopes.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination and project administration
  • Maintain project schedules, documentation, drawings, RFIs, and change orders
  • Assist with job costing, material tracking, and weekly reporting
  • Attend job sites to gather updates, take photos, and shadow site leadership
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and site access
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and field staff in a professional manner
  • Support quantity takeoffs and small-scale quoting/estimating as skills develop
  • Learn mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and TI workflows through direct mentorship

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools

Preference given to:

  • Experience working in office setting
  • Familiarity with scheduling or job-costing tools
  • Previous experience in coordination or site support roles
