About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve upon on-boarding and regular assessments process, including tracking of cycles and reporting status
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g. InfoSec, Assurance, Privacy, etc) to ensure appropriate compliance with all regulatory requirements as part of the due diligence review
  • Conduct assessments for new and existing third-party relationships, focusing on areas key risk areas
  • Establish and maintain a risk register to document, track, and report on identified risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Train internal stakeholders on third-party risk management policies, tools, and best practices to foster a risk-aware culture.
  • Provide input to governance and reporting processes, clarifying accountability and ensuring leadership is informed of key risks and compliance issues.
  • Implement process improvements to supplier onboarding procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier life cycle with COE Procurement Peers and Stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Extensive years' experience with performing due diligence assessments
  • CTPRP certification or equivalent TPRM certification
  • Project management qualification – or significant experience in this field

Preferred Skills

  • In depth understanding of procurement policies, compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks such as OCC, OSFI, FAC etc.
  • Industry certification such as CTCRP or CTRPA, ABPMP, FCIPS, CIPS, or CPSM, or Six-Sigma
  • Bachelor's degree in business
  • Strong in years assessment experience and/or TPRM experience
