We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Cooking Lead to join our supplement manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and monitoring batches of supplements to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the cooking and preparation of gummy supplement batches according to SOPs and recipes
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients following precise formulations
  • Monitor cooking parameters (temperature, mixing speed, cook time, etc.) to ensure product consistency
  • Perform in-process quality checks (texture, color, pH, Brix) and adjust as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate batch records for traceability and GMP compliance
  • Coordinate with QA, production, and packaging teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Troubleshoot and correct minor production issues as they arise
  • Uphold strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • Assist in training and guiding junior production staff when required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Basic math skills — able to calculate batch sizes, ratios, and measurements accurately
  • Detail oriented with strong focus on product quality and consistency
  • Experience in food, confectionery, or supplement manufacturing preferred
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically capable of lifting materials and operating cooking equipment safely
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
