*Fully Virtual Law Clerk Position*

I'm looking for a Law Clerk to join my team I practice family law primarily in Toronto, but have a growing practice in Northern Ontario (from Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie, all the way to Kenora). My Toronto practice has a lot of property/income issues, and my northern practice focuses largely on First Nations family law issues.

Your substantive work will be focused on preparing financial statements, first drafts of certain court documents, and liaising with clients directly, while your administrative work will consist of helping with intake, opening/closing files, email organization, diarizing court deadlines, etc.

Some things I'm looking for:

  • Strong drafting skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of Family Law Rules;
  • Interest in the financial side of family law; and
  • Experience with DivorceMate, Clio, and Microsoft Office.

Some things I could offer you:

  • Compensation ~$50,000 salary, depending on experience level;
  • 20-25 vacation days (depending on salary) + 1 week closure around winter holidays + statutory holidays (plenty of time off will always be a core value of the firm);
