Operations Intern

Tenure Dates: January 2026 – April month placement)

Compensation: $23.00 CAD per hour

Vacation: 10 paid days off, prorated for the calendar year

Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

Vitacore is looking for an Operations Intern eager to gain real-world experience in a dynamic manufacturing and research-driven environment. Reporting to our Operations Managers, this student will support a variety of projects across manufacturing, logistics, recycling, and process optimisation.

This position offers meaningful hands-on experience in project coordination, data analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration, all within a supportive and fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks for ongoing projects.
• Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports or presentations as required.
• Support senior team members with documentation, scheduling, and internal communications.
• Shadow experienced staff to gain exposure to best practices in manufacturing and process management.
• Contribute fresh ideas during meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Take ownership of smaller assignments and assist in delivering larger operational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and implement process improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving workplace.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
