**Job Summary**
We are hiring for Pharmacy Interns in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year at our location in Port Coquitlam, BC.

You must currently be enrolled in a Faculty of Pharmacy at an accredited University.

This position is designed for pharmacy students looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional pharmacy setting. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, assisting with various tasks that support the pharmacy's operations and enhance your understanding of pharmaceutical practices.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventories.
- Support the pharmacy team in managing inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
- Participate in patient education initiatives, providing information on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy regulations.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills for managing pharmacy software and documentation.
- Additional Language (Mandarin/Cantonese )

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
