North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewan's leading home builder, is seeking a Carpenter to join our Regina team. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the purpose of the Carpenter position is to perform all residential construction carpentry duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Complete construction tasks in a timely manner, as assigned by the site supervisor.

· Advise site supervisor of materials requirements on site.

· Read and interpret blueprints.

· Respond to change orders.

· Manage and work with subcontractors.

· Complete items identified on quality assurance and/or walk through list.

· Report safety incidents in an accurate and timely manner.

· Communicate problems/issues to the site supervisor in an effective and timely manner.

· Resolve problems/issues in an effective and timely manner, always keeping the customer in mind.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

· Valid driver's license, insurable by North Ridge

· 3-5 years' carpentry experience, preferably in the new home building industry

· General knowledge of construction practices and procedures

· Proficient time management and organizational skills

· Self motivated

· Safety conscious

· Must be able to do heavy lifting and work in extreme weather conditions (from hot to cold)

· Must be a resident of Saskatchewan and be legally able to work in Canada
