Job Overview

GrowKids Education Center provides supplementary after-school programs for students in a positive and encouraging environment. Currently we are looking for a part time Piano Teacher to join our team. We are located in North Burnaby.

The classes are held on every Monday after 3PM. The working hours are from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a love for teaching Piano to students, and familiar with RCM test.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum

- Provide instruction to students on different level of Piano

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Assess student progress and provide feedback for improvement

Requirements

- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring Piano

- Ability to effectively educate and engage with younger children

- Proficiency in the English language

- Strong classroom management skills

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
