Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Corporate Auditor on a permanent basis within our Finance team. This position requires onsite work, with flexibility, based in Saskatoon, SK.
Ready to play a key role in an organization's success? We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and brings a big-picture perspective to everything they do.
What you'll do:
- Lead audit reviews, including IT audits, assigned on internal corporate operations and obtain information through a review of computer program documentation and by interviewing employees involved in the system or process.
- Identify key controls to manage risk and weaknesses and design and complete tests on corporate systems to determine if they are operating as designed and recommend improvements to processes based on findings and communicate operational weaknesses, areas of risk, and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead project assurance reviews to identify significant risks that exist within projects, assess the effectiveness of any mitigating actions, and provide recommendations to further reduce the likelihood and impact of any significant project risks.
- Assist the external auditors twice a year for year-end audit purposes by gathering audit populations, reconciling general ledger accounts, providing year-end and budget revenue projections, and preparing working papers for compliance audits.
- Supervise and direct staff auditors on assignments, including on-the-job training and assessing their skills.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and :
- Have 6-9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience, including experience with assurance services in the Global internal auditing standards, Canadian Auditing Standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). IT audit experience is an asset. Have a bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce, with a major in accounting or finance. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or Professional Auditing designation (CIA or CISA) required.
- Experience in data analysis and familiarity with analytic tools, along with strong report writing skills; knowledge of risk management, governance, and control processes would be considered an asset. IT audit experience is an asset.
