This role is perfect for someone who loves a mix of day-to-day accounting operations and forward-looking financial strategy. That said, we're committed to hiring the best person for the role, and qualified candidates from anywhere in Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.YOU'RE FIRED UP TO:Support the preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with ASPE.Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and ensure accurate SaaS revenue recognition under ASPE.Assist with annual audit, tax filings, and external reporting requirements.Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts and uphold internal controls.Support monthly close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Develop and manage KPI dashboards, and reporting to provide clear financial insights.Partner with department leaders to coordinate and consolidate inputs for the annual budget.Conduct variance analysis and identify key financial trends to support decision-making.Build and refine financial models to guide business decisions.Optimize and implement accounting & FP&A systems to enhance automation and efficiency.Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product to align financial plans with business priorities.Lead or contribute to process improvements that streamline reporting and analysis.Provide ad-hoc financial insights and support special projects as needed.RequirementsCPA designation (required).3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate accounting.Experience at a Big Four accounting firm or in public accounting is considered a strong foundation for success in this role.Strong understanding of ASPE accounting standards and operational finance.Experience in SaaS or software/technology environments is considered an asset.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and FP&A tools preferred.Prior experience in FP&A and annual budgeting is an asset.Exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams.A proactive approach, juggling competing priorities with focus and flexibility.You've got serious finance chops and an easygoing spirit; you know your debits from your credits and your coconuts from your palmsBenefitsPlease apply directly to this website >>>
