  • Minimum- $0.16 - Our Quoted Price, $ Stat and Vacation, $ Gross Pay per Tree*
  • Average- $ Our Quoted Price, $0.017- Stat and Vacation, $ Gross Pay per Tree*
  • Highest- $0.40 - Our Quoted Price, $ Stat and Vacation, $ Gross Pay per Tree*
    *Gross pay is before taxes and other statutory deductions, camp fees and special worksite allowances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planting seedling trees.
• Seedling handling and care.
• Planting location selection.
• Tree quality and spacing inspection.
• Accurately record and document the number of trees planted.
• Load boxes, move equipment and assist in set up or take down of camp infrastructure.
• Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright Canada Holdings Ltd.'s culture of safety.
• Other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Expectations:

• Commitment to spring and summer plant (Early May to mid-August).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a current Driver's Abstract.
• Must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, B.C. Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent, is considered an asset.
• Tree planters are responsible for bringing their own sleeping accommodation (e.g. tent, trailer), personal items including clothing, footwear, and toiletries. Planting equipment will be available for purchase.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to carry 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to work, enjoy, and live in a remote setting.
• English language proficiency (read, write, oral comprehension).
• For driving positions, a class 5 license, clear drivers abstract and drug screening will be required.
