Job Overview

Little Leaf Interiors is a Calgary-based, residential interior renovation company, specializing in Basement Development & Suite legalization, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring and touch-up/refresh projects.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced, multi-talented Crew Lead to oversee renovation projects and act as our point of contact for crew, subs and clients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer support and communication skills, strong supervisory skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and an understanding of local code requirements. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring project quality, safety, and efficiency while maintaining adherence to project plans and schedules. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to dynamic construction projects and advance your career within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
  • Read and interpret construction documents to guide team activities
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and trades
  • Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation to optimize project performance
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections on-site
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote skill development and adherence to best practices

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management processes is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating is an asset
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures, budgeting techniques, and schematic documentation is an asset
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively

This position is integral to the successful delivery of construction projects. We seek dedicated professionals committed to excellence in the field.

A valid driver's license is require, as this position will travel to multiple locations regularly.
