Guardteck Security is looking for Security Officers for University in Downtown Toronto, Ontario

This is a great opportunity to work with one of the best-managed security companies in Western Canada and gain valuable experience in a professional and dynamic environment.

Position Requirements:

Valid Ontario Basic Security LicenseValid First Aid Level 1 CertificateMinimum 1 year of CCTV monitoring experienceMinimum 2 years of experience as a Security GuardMust be familiar with handling vagrants and intoxicated personsPolice Foundations is an assetConfident in verbal conflict de-escalationProficient in English (verbal & written)Able to complete detailed, high-quality reportsStrong customer service skills; previous experience considered a strong assetProfessional, disciplined, and ethical approach to dutiesAble to patrol and stand for long periodsComfortable working independently or as part of a diverse teamAble to follow established procedures and routines effectivelyStrong observation and communication skillsFlexible availabilityMust be ready to meet new people and bring a positive attitude to work
