We are seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about operations and logistics to join our growing data analytics & reporting team. You will be the primary resource for analyzing mission-critical data, including e-commerce orders, inventory levels, shipments, and courier performance. This role requires strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI to create and maintain dashboards that monitor business health and identify efficiency improvements.
- Reporting and Visualization: Own the end-to-end development, maintenance, and distribution of key operational dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Operational Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis into core operational areas, including inventory, order fulfillment and courier performance.
- Data Extraction (SQL): Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries against the data warehouse to source data for both ad-hoc analysis and recurring reports.
- Organizational Collaboration: Work directly with Operations and Supply Chain teams to understand their data needs and translate business questions into analytical projects.
- Data Quality: Monitor the integrity of critical operations data within the data warehouse and escalate discrepancies.
- At least one year of professional experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
- Proven expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries (joins, subqueries, CTEs) for data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience developing production-ready reports and dashboards using a business intelligence platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations data, including Order Management, Inventory, and Shipping/Logistics data models.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to identifying process gaps and proposing data-driven solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python (Pandas) or R for advanced data cleaning or statistical modeling an asset.
- Experience in performing financial analysis of courier invoicing or freight costs desired.
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Snowflake, or other cloud data warehouse environments an asset.
