What You Will Do
- Promote and comply with all safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support electrical and software design as needed
- Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
- Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
- Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
- Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
- Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi is an asset
- Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
- Utilize DCS, Safe Op, and Safe Move functions
What You Need To Join Our Team
- 2–5 years of experience as a Robotics Engineer with 6 (+) Axis Industrial Robots
- Strong knowledge of robotic automation system integration
- Knowledge of PLC controls and robotic interface
- Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry (BIW, Powertrain, Battery, Supplier part build)
- Multiple robot experience preferred (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki, etc.)
- Extensive commissioning experience with manufacturing robot applications
- Ability to travel to customer sites across North America
- Valid passport and driver's license
- Eligibility for a TN Visa
