What You Will Do

  • Promote and comply with all safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Support electrical and software design as needed
  • Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
  • Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
  • Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
  • Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
  • Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi is an asset
  • Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
  • Utilize DCS, Safe Op, and Safe Move functions

What You Need To Join Our Team

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Robotics Engineer with 6 (+) Axis Industrial Robots
  • Strong knowledge of robotic automation system integration
  • Knowledge of PLC controls and robotic interface
  • Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry (BIW, Powertrain, Battery, Supplier part build)
  • Multiple robot experience preferred (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki, etc.)
  • Extensive commissioning experience with manufacturing robot applications
  • Ability to travel to customer sites across North America
  • Valid passport and driver's license
  • Eligibility for a TN Visa
