Experienced Real Estate Clerk

We are a small full-service law firm in Vaughan looking for an exceptional real estate clerk to join our team for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail oriented with an astute ability to multi-task.

Primary duties will include:

  • Schedule client appointments and facilitate client meetings (virtual and in-person)

  • Administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, faxing and emailing documents

  • Assist lawyers in preparation of real estate files, including client intake, requisition letters, review of parcel register searches, drafting reporting letters; contacting financial institutions and insurance companies

  • Manage client correspondence and act as primary point of contact with various real estate clients

-Knowledge of real estate and corporate law will be considerate and asset

Qualifications

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and ability to work with other legal programs (i.e Unity , Docusign, Teraview, Lawyer Done Deal, Conveyance, Title Plus, Stewart Title and FCT Portal)

  • Proficient in English

  • Working knowledge and strong familiarity with real estate law.

-Self-motivated, confident, and willing to learn

-Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Type: Contract Position- monthly basis

Salary: Commensurate with experience
