THE OPPORTUNITY

Omicron is looking to fill the role of Senior Technical Architect in our Vancouver office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading project teams and mentoring staff in the production of construction documents. We value experience with design-build or Construction Management delivery methods, as well as diversity in your portfolio of work.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Post-secondary education in Architecture and registered or eligible for registration with the AIBC
  • 10-15 years' work experience
  • Must have working knowledge of Revit and be highly efficient in use of Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with ACC or other construction software
  • High level of familiarity with BCBC and VBBL
  • Adept at problem solving and collaboration
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams at both design and construction stages
  • Experience with LEED / Passivhaus / Zero-Carbon buildings
  • Comfortable supervising staff in all areas of practice as Architect of Record
  • Preference for candidates with experience writing specifications
  • Preference for candidates with proven experience on design-build or construction management projects
