What you'll work on

  • Build and harden (TypeScript) services on GCP (Cloud Run/Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL/Firestore).
  • Own authn/authz and tenant isolation: Auth0/Okta, Firebase Auth, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, rate limiting, and API security.
  • Implement secure SDLC + evidence: SAST/SCA, secrets/KMS rotation, audit-grade logging, SOC 2/PCI artifacts.
  • Ship customer-facing APIs with strong observability (traces/metrics/logs), SLOs, and incident response.

Who you are

  • Product-minded backend engineer who defaults to least privilege and defense-in-depth.
  • Comfortable in fast-moving ambiguity while meeting enterprise expectations (SLAs, change control, audits).
  • Clear communicator across engineers, auditors, and customers; you document and diagram.
  • Owner mindset: ship in small increments, measure outcomes, and raise the security bar.

Can you say yes to some of these items?

  • 3–6+ years backend experience with ; strong testing discipline.
  • GCP proficiency: IAM, Cloud Run/Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL/Firestore, Secret Manager, KMS, VPC/VPC-SC.
  • Security & compliance: Auth0/Okta, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, key rotation, SOC 2 Type II basics, PCI scope reduction, logging/retention.
  • Infra & reliability: CI/CD with security gates, tracing/metrics/logs, SLOs, incident/postmortems.

Bonus

  • Experience with CX software (Five9, Genesys, etc) or DL software (SuperAnnotate, V7, etc)
