Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Childcare Provider to support the well-being and development of our 3-yr old son in a nurturing environment. This role involves engaging our son in activities, ensuring his safety, and providing attentive care that promotes his growth. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a positive and enriching experience for children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor our son's activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, and nap times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and playtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties
- Communicate regularly with us (parents) about our son's progress and needs
- Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social development
Skills
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and attentiveness
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities
- Cooking skills to support meal preparation routines
- Cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic childcare setting
- Teaching abilities to promote learning through play and structured activities
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
Work Location: In person
