Salary Range: $19.48/hour as per Schedule "A"

Hours of Work: As per CA

Starting Date: December 15, 2025

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Main responsibility will be to assist the Building Department with administrative duties:

• Booking Building Inspections

• Input data for processing building permits
• Filing
• Directing telephone calls to appropriate staff
• Responds to staff and public inquiries

• Other related duties associated with Building & Zoning

• Issue and track water exemption permits for the Engineering Department

• Replace vacationing clerical staff

• Minimum grade 12 and must be enrolled in a post-secondary school
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Usual Public Office Conditions; subject to frequent telephone and staff interruptions
• Regular office hours, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
