Job Overview:

Team WEDI is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation XRay Technologist to join our team. As a MRT at WEDI, you will be responsible for delivering empathic, efficient care while producing high-quality images and providing accurate diagnostic information in fast-paced setting. WEDI MRTs are able to work closely with our Radiologists, who are available to answer any questions and provide professional feedback as needed. Students and/or early career MRTs are welcome to apply, as we are always recruiting eager members for our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures by professionally and emphatically explaining processes/protocols and answering any questions.

  • Analyze images for quality and ensure all necessary images are optimized for interpretation.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a proficient outpatient setting.

  • Maintain patient records and document all procedures performed.

  • Adhere to IPAC and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Currently possess or be eligible for CMRITO certification.

  • Ability to perform full breadth of x-ray exams including BMD .

  • Proficiency in Mammography are considered a strong asset for this position.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Be a team player, and open to feedback and expanding technical skills to meet our dynamic patient population needs.

Location:

WEDI is a full-service outpatient medical imaging clinic located in the heart of the vibrant, diverse and emerging Bloor West Village, home to hundreds of shops, restaurants and services. Conveniently located on the Jane Street Subway Stop on the TTC Bloor-Danforth Line, walking distance from High Park and several desirable amenities.
