Position: IAL is looking for a dedicated and passionate Pet Travel Associate to join our team in Toronto. If you love working with animals and enjoy providing excellent sales and customer service, this could be the perfect role for you

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries for pet relocation
  • Understand client needs and tailor quotes accordingly
  • Provide detailed and accurate pricing information
  • Follow up with clients to address questions and facilitate sales
  • Make all necessary arrangements and take pets to all required appointments prior to travel, i.e.: preparing travel kennels for flight, pet check-in and check-out from the airport, and attending required veterinary appointments
  • Communicate with clients regarding their pets' travel arrangements to final destination
  • Adhere to brand values of Safety, Compassion, Transparency, Integrity and Excellence
  • Successful candidate is required to obtain and maintain certain pet travel certifications within 3 months of hire (i.e. IPATA)

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience needed
  • Must love animals and be comfortable around pets of all shapes and sizes
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule as pertains to pet travel arrangements including occasional evening, early morning and weekends.
  • Clean Criminal background check
  • Clean drivers abstract and a G-drivers license required for a minimum of 5 years
  • Legally able to work in Canada
