You Are
UST is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong technical skills, incident management capabilities, and the ability to lead support calls during critical incidents.

The Opportunity

  • Lead SWAT/bridge calls during incidents and coordinate resolution efforts
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Kafka, NiFi, Apigee, Redis, and other platform components
  • Perform real-time troubleshooting and root cause analysis using observability tools (Datadog, Splunk)
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts while driving incidents to resolution
  • Implement automation solutions to reduce MTTR and prevent recurring issues
  • Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • Create and maintain operational runbooks and documentation

What You Need

  • 5+ years of hands-on SRE/DevOps engineering experience
  • Healthcare domain expertise
  • Experience supporting environments with SLA commitments
  • Proven track record of handling multiple concurrent incidents/priorities
  • Agile/Scrum experience required
  • On-call and shift work experience preferred
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable leading incident calls and providing status updates during outages

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range
: $86,000-$108,000

Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
