TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (Hiring for School Season)

Intertrain Incorporated is the premier provider of all in-school, School Bus Safety programs for Elementary Schools across Ontario. Since 2003 we have been providing our programs to school boards across Ontario. We work hard to develop top-notch programs and provide schools with a hassle-free, fun experience.

We are seeking a very motivated, outgoing, punctual, accountable and responsible person to represent our company in a professional manner and to provide School Bus Safety presentations for children JK to grade 8 in the Elementary Schools across Brantford and surrounding areas (Brant County Region).

The successful candidates MUST have the following qualifications:

  • Ability to present a professional presentation
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently
  • Experience working with children in large groups (assembly style) of up to 250 students per presentation
  • Ability to act, role play, organize, and sing children's songs
  • Highly motivated & positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to operate audio visual equipment
  • Good physical health, ability to lift and transport 60+ pounds of heavy presentation equipment
  • Provide a Negative VSR (Police Vulnerable Sector Report)
  • Valid Drivers License (minimum G2)
  • Own reliable vehicle - large enough to carry our equipment daily
  • Minimum high school diploma

Typical day is between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. Monday to Friday. Total daily hours of work vary but Educators must be available to work between 7:00am -3:30pm to be paid the daily rate.

Job Types: Full-time Temporary Contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 3 months (approximately)

Pay: $158.00 per day

Benefits:

  • Automobile allowance ($0.23 cents/km) to cover for gas and wear & tear
  • Paid Training
