JOB SUMMARY

Overall responsibility for the efficient handling of the warehouse inventory including audits, inventory planning, receiving, cycle counts, returns and destructions, compliance to quality standards, environmental, health and safety and legislative regulations.

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS

Post secondary education and/or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience

Must show a solid interest in warehouse inventory

Ability to operate pump trucks and walkies as required

Excellent organization, multi-task skills and strong time management skills

Attention to detail is essential and must have good problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge in computer-based skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with an aptitude to learn new software

Must be competent and knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act

A criminal record background check will be required and must be clear

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Overall Inventory management of material within the warehouse

2) Organize and carry out all Inventory Audits of Client and Marco owned inventory to the completion of adjustments and justification of variances as required

3) Maintain performance records of location and Inventory accuracy

4) Maintain Inventory Control support for departmental workload to complete cycle counts, transfers, misplaced stock investigations, adjustments, destructions, damages, warehouse movement, manual month end counts and other functions as required, including entering data into the ERP system

5) Check all the incoming deliveries and report the damages or shortages to the receiving department

6) Follow up on damaged goods, trace origin, and determine preventative measures

7) Document orders, materials and any product movements

8) Monitor space in the warehouse and plan accordingly

9) Warehouse monthly/seasonal safety inspections

10) Creation and/or udates of Standard Operating Procedures documents

11) Member of JHSC (Joint Health and Safety Committee)

12) Other duties as required/assigned
