About Us

Greenstone Medical Centre is a new, modern family medicine and walk-in clinic in Sherwood Park dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and supportive environment. We are looking for motivated and compassionate Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients, ensuring accuracy of health and demographic information.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently using the EMR system.
  • Assist physicians with patient flow, documentation, and clinical preparation.
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and faxes professionally.
  • Prepare referrals, lab and imaging requisitions, and follow up on results.
  • Support physicians with billing, scanning, and general administrative duties.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk program preferred.
  • Experience with EMR systems (Healthquest, Accuro, PS Suite, or Ava) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
  • Previous experience in a family medicine or walk-in clinic is an advantage.
