Job Description:

  • Produce additional revenue for dealership by selling financial and insurance programs (e.g. extended warranties, financing and credit life, accident and health insurance plans, vehicle protection packages, accessories, Gas N Go, etc.) to new and used vehicle customers ensuring the customer and vehicle is properly protected.
  • Manage all rate quotations, insurance fees and financing.
  • Forward documents to obtain approval on financing to the appropriate source.
  • Develop incentives for salespeople to sell insurance and financing in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Educate salespeople in effective practices and procedures of selling department's products.
  • Work with Sales Managers to maximize profits on every sale.
  • Establish finance forecasting in combination with sales department forecasting to achieve desired percentage of penetration and income.
  • Prepare appropriate delivery and submission paperwork for outside sources.
  • Conduct history and lien checks on trade-in vehicles.
  • Prepare monthly reports on financial & product penetration and share with Sales Managers & Dealer.
  • Verify all documents for correct titles, taxes and lien information.
  • Prepare, coordinate all licensing documentation.
  • Handle and respond to post-delivery customer inquiries such as warranty and loan payouts.
  • Attend all department meetings and play an active role.
  • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures. Ensure all required documentation regarding purchase plans & incentive claiming are properly prepared & submitted.
  • Submit all necessary documentation to various financial institutions for prompt payment and file processing.
  • Full disclosure of all documentation with customer.
  • Proper waivers completed and signed by each customer and filed in customer file.
  • Commit to continuous improvement in department sales and processes, investing new products and streamlining paperwork process.
