Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, prepare and serve beverages, and ensure that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cleanliness in the bar area will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
  • Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests.
  • Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
  • Stay informed about current drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
