About the Role

As the Marketing Associate, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives across digital, social, and in-person channels. This role is a blend of content creation, campaign execution, analytics, and event support—with a focus on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Brainstorm, storyboard, and produce engaging social content that aligns with brand and marketing objectives
  • Take full ownership of content calendar - Demonstrate strong foresight in content planning, ensuring proactive scheduling, consistent execution, and alignment with upcoming initiatives
  • Proactively identify social media trends, opportunities, and evolving platform features
  • Create content using photography, videography, graphic design, motion graphics, and editing
  • Support ongoing content improvements for our website and major social channels, especially YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Update and maintain existing marketing assets and brand documentation

Campaigns & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain marketing campaigns across email, social, and web
  • Monitor performance metrics, compile analytics, and use data to inform strategy and future marketing decisions

Sales & Event Support

  • Provide support to the sales team by designing marketing collateral such as flyers, in-store displays, and promotional materials
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events including demos, tradeshows, and community events

Skills & Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience creating social media content for brands
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Experience utilizing scheduling and planning tools (Metricool, Hootsuite, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with ideation, scripting, storyboarding, graphic design, and digital illustration (using tools like Canva, Photoshop)
  • Skilled in photography and videography, with experience using a professional camera
  • Proficient in photo editing, video editing, and retouching. Experience using editing tools such as DaVinci, CapCut, etc.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to take lead on projects and marketing initiatives from ideation to execution.
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals including composition, color, and typography
  • Excellent communication skills, including creative writing and caption creation
  • Highly organized, reliable, and proactive with strong time-management abilities
  • Creative thinker with a can-do attitude and ownership mindset
  • Bilingual (French) is considered an asset
